AI receptionist for clinics and dentists
Short answer
Ask Myna answers your clinic's phone while you and your staff are with patients, in Gujarati, Hindi, English or Marathi. Myna tells callers your timings, fees and which doctor is in today, and notes appointment requests for you to confirm with one tap on WhatsApp. During clinic hours, a patient in pain is put through to the clinic.
The calls a clinic gets
A clinic's phone can ring when everyone is busy: the receptionist is registering a patient at the desk and the doctor is with someone else. Typical calls include:
- "Is the doctor in today? Until what time?"
- "What is the consultation fee?"
- "Can I get an appointment this evening?"
- "I need to move my appointment to Thursday."
- "Where exactly is the clinic?"
- "My tooth has been hurting since last night."
Many can wait for a callback. A patient in pain should not have to call three times.
What Myna answers and notes
On every call forwarded to her, Myna:
- answers in the caller's language and switches mid-call if they do (any three of Gujarati, Hindi, English and Marathi per number);
- tells callers your timings, consultation fees, which doctor is in today and directions, as you have approved them;
- notes appointment requests with the preferred time, the reason for the visit, and the patient's name and number;
- notes requests to move or cancel an appointment, for your staff to confirm;
- during clinic hours, puts a patient in pain, or anyone who needs a person, through to the staff mobile you choose while they are still on the line, after saving their details;
- sends you the summary on WhatsApp within a minute of the call ending, with e-mail as backup. You confirm an appointment request with one tap on the message.
On the Growth plan, Myna can also call patients from your list when a check-up is due and note who wants a slot, for your staff to confirm. Patients who asked to be called back get the call at the time you choose.
What stays with your doctors and staff
- Confirming appointments. Myna notes the request and tells the patient the clinic will confirm. She never promises a slot you haven't approved.
- Medical questions. Myna is not a doctor and doesn't give medical advice. She gives only the practical answers you have approved, and your call flow sets what she never says. A question she can't answer goes to you with the patient's details.
- Emergencies. Ask Myna is not an emergency service. After hours, Myna takes the details and sends them to you, so add what urgent callers should be told, such as the hospital you refer patients to, to her approved answers.
- Fees and payments. She quotes only the fees you have approved and never takes payments.
Patient details and privacy
Calls to a clinic carry personal details: a name, a phone number and often the reason for the visit. Call records and patients' details belong to your clinic and are stored on our servers in India. Speech and language providers process the calls to make them work; we never sell or share your patients' numbers, and we do not train our own models on your calls.
You decide what Myna asks. If you'd rather she didn't ask the reason for the visit, leave it out of your call flow.
Our privacy policy follows India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. The Act sets out a person's right to obtain information about how their personal data is processed and to seek its correction and erasure (sections 11 and 12). Its provisions come into force on dates the Central Government notifies (section 1(2)).

- Starter
- ₹2,999 a month for 100 answered minutes. For a practice whose phone rings only a few times an hour: approved answers, callback requests with name and number, and a WhatsApp summary after every call.

Questions from clinics
Can Myna confirm appointments?
No. She notes the request with the preferred time and the reason for the visit, and tells the patient the clinic will confirm. You confirm with one tap on the WhatsApp message. Myna never promises a slot you haven't approved.
What happens when a patient is in pain?
During your hours, Myna tells the patient she is connecting them and puts the call through to the staff mobile you choose, while they are still on the line. She saves their name, number and request first, so the details are on your WhatsApp even if the transfer doesn't connect. After hours she takes the request and sends it to you instead.
Will Myna answer medical questions?
No. Myna is not a doctor and doesn't give medical advice. She answers the practical questions you approve, such as timings, fees and which doctor is in. A medical question, or any question she can't answer, goes to the clinic with the patient's name and number.
Where are patients' details stored, and for how long?
Call records and patients' details belong to your clinic and are stored on our servers in India. Recordings and transcripts are deleted after 30 days, and we erase any call's details within one working day when you or the patient asks.
Do patients know they're talking to a computer?
Yes. Myna's first sentence says she is the computer assistant for your clinic and that the call may be recorded. Patients can ask for a person at any time.
